Chicago! My Kind Of Town!!!

Chicago is a beautiful city. Everytime I visit, I am taken with its architectural grandeur and energy. I was there this past week to visit with my children and help my youngest daughter as she adjusted to life as a mother (first child!) Time with my children and grandchildren is always precious.

On my return trip, while waiting at the stop for the Megabus to arrive, I couldn’t resist the urge to pull out my camera and start shooting. These are all taken from a vantage point across the street from Union Station on Canal Street. Enjoy. 🙂

    1. Thanks Kathy. Yes, I’m having a great weekend! Quarter if FINALLY over and I’m savoring every free moment. You know how the earth smells, and the colors are vivid after a spring rain? That’s how it feels after turning in my last paper of the quarter. Wonderful! Thanks for stopping by.
      Hugs back.

  1. Great photos. I love the reflections in the glass building with the flags. Spending time with family is the best. Wishing the best for your daughter and baby. Children are a gift from God to be loved and cherished.

    BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED.

    1. On this trip, Union Station was it! But with the girls living there now, I will be making many more trips and I’m sure that I will see more of the city. Thanks for stopping by. Good to see you. 🙂

    1. Thanks, Rebekah. Yes, Chicago is amazing. I did not see much of the city on this trip, sadly. There is a lot to see and do and now with my daughters living in the area, I will make it back a few times each year. Hopefully I’ll have more to share than this one spot! 😉
