Weekly Photo Challenge: Contrast

I don’t think I need to describe or explain this one. I shot these earlier today (still in Chicago with my daughter and her family). I felt that the contrast within this one plant was amazing. I hope you agree. Enjoy!

  1. Great contrasts & colours in both, but I think I like the second one a bit better for its composition. As I see it, there is more tension in here (which I think of as a good thing). Chapeau!

    1. Thanks SIG. I don’t know what it is either, but there was a whole clump of the stuff and it was beautiful. I shot a lot of photos, but these seem to best capture this week’s theme. Thanks for stopping by. πŸ™‚

  2. Stunning photos! I love how you captured the details. There is so much amazement in nature. We only need to take the time to get up close and personal with it. Thanks for sharing. πŸ™‚

    1. Thank you! One of those serendipitous moments when you look out the window at what you thought were weeds, and the sun shines right on it and you know you have a winner….Soooo you grab the camera, run outside, and hope you get a few shots while the light is just right! Every once in a while nuture hands it to you on a platter. πŸ˜€

    1. Thanks for stopping by… and I’m glad you like the photos. I have no idea what those plants are called, but when the sun shone on them they just “popped” out of the landscape. Glad you like them.
